  Old  PHP Class

Hi, the server that I use doesn't support the class ZipArchive and on the PHP site it says that you must re-compile PHP with the tag correct tag. However I cannot do this because I'm not on a dedicated server.

Is it possible to put the package (which is written in c) somewhere on the server and use it's classes without having to recompile.

I think I know the answer, and I'm guessing it's no, but I thought it was worth asking.

Well if you're not picky you can use exec() and commands to unzip files
