Old  What do you think abot Russia?

I would like to discuss this topic
What do you know about this country and what do you think about it?
Have you ever been in Russia or have you ever visited russian websites at least ('ru' domain)?
The rumors has it that people from USA and Europe have a lot of prejudices and biased opinions? Is it true?

i've bin in moscow a few years ago, and i must admit; it's a nice country. lots of culture, lots to see, good food. but there are still lots of things from the communism.
(also a lot of drunk people there(vodka))
but i think you should just visit it, then you can give your opinion about it.

Well, Russia can be like this:

But also, like this:

So I have no peremptory opinion. If you want, you can find cute places to visit. Else, Russia will be bowery to you.

I always visit russian sites - I am a breeder of rare russian facy pigeon breeds and I'm always looking for new birds to import (very hard to find!).

I picture it as cold, mean, and with plenty of vodka.

Typical American stereotype I know.
