Laptop For My Younger Sister
Hello,
My sister's laptop isn't working properly and can no longer be fixed, so she's on the look out for a new one. She wants one fairly cheap, and is willing to spend a maximum of £350 (~$700). She found a list of reasonable priced laptops, which can be found here. I know a little about laptops, but I know there are people who know a lot more - so help me out
Cheers,
Steven

Dunno about in the UK, but she could pick up a new dell for under 700 that would eclipse any of those refurbs.

Dell would probably be your best bet for a 700 - $ laptop, They've got some pretty decent pieces of equip for a farley nice price.

Sorry I forgot to mention the most important part. She's not wanting to run anything major, something basic will do. As long as it can run some basic games such as "The Sims" it will be fine. Dual core isn't really needed.

Does anyone know of any which will run those basic games? Fairly cheap if possible.
