Desk?
Hey,
I'm looking for a new desk and I'm wondering where you guys got yours? I'm looking for just something simple thats light wood (maple possibly). I checked out IKEA online and didn't find anything and it's a far drive so I will wait to go down there myself, and I can't find any other places that have good desks.

I went to my local office max. There were some pretty good deals, and I love my desk.

As much as that is not helpful what so ever, Andrew do you have a budget? Or do you have an IKEA or Argos near you? They're pretty big cheap outlets that sell almost anything for the home or office.

IKEA is about an hour away, so I'll go there some other time, but as for budget, not really. Anywhere from $100-$250 is reasonable.
Also, never even heard of Argos, maybe that's just a UK thing (or just not here)?

I'd drive to ikea, they have alot of desks there that arn't online. But if you want to be creative you can build your ownp go to your local homedepot and get something to hold it up, glass blocks.. or if your handy with tools you can get actle wood.. then get a desktop , you can even get corian or granit if you wanted too.. but they have maple desktops, then just put it together it comes out to about the same as a desk.. depending on what you use it can sometimes be more expensive but its worth a shot gives you a unique place to work from .
