  Old  Bringing back old threads.

I've noticed that in the past week people have been bringing up a lot of old threads, May I ask why? If something hasnt been replied to in over a month leave it.

Unless it's closed then why shouldn't it be? Or do you fancy telling someone the same answer over and over with pointless duplicate threads? Can't have it both ways.

Does that mean that once a useful thread reaches a certain age, it becomes 'clutter'?

The picture thread was a perfect thread to bring back for one example.

When I closed an old topic it got reopened and julian made it clear that unless there is a reason other then it being old that it can be brought back.

I don't see a problem with old threads coming back as long as their is a reason for bringing back. Why have 50 different "TF Picture Threads"? it makes no sense.

If someone is going round simply bumping up the threads for no reason though then it will be seen to

Yes but dont have a thread 2 years old. Take a look for yourself half of the images do not work most people have seen the old pictures and should make a new tread with updated images. People look different than what they did two years ago. And im not just talking about the picture thread.
