New table-less CSS design i coded lastnight/this morning

I'm going to use it as a portfolio for myself.

I was wanting to get some input on this design.

It's not complete... barely any of the links are set up but It is valid xhtml 1.0 strict and css.

The colors can be changed easily enough so I'd like comments on then please. Any just overall likes and dislikes.

The only thing I can say is bad color scheme. Other than that, the coding is done nicely. Pretty clean coding job done.

any suggestions on colors? i dont really care for these either.

Maybe earth tones or blue and greys... im not sure.

I think some grey-looking blue colors are nice. I cant explain what I am talking about, lol.

Hi, the coding is pretty nice, but for semantics sake, use header tags for titles instead of paragraph tags. Navigation roll overs and link styling could do some work, too. I like the layout, but as satansjudge said, it needs at least one more color that stands out. I also don't like the logo, but not sure if you can do much about that.

yeah im thinking the same thing... this started out as a side deal but im gonna use it.

im going to:

-expiriment with colors
-use header tags to allow the eye to find a starting point...
-maybe get an actual logo... dont think i need one as it's just a portfolio but im not sure.
-work with adding some BG images for the different DIVs
-make some upside-down tabs (undertabs) for the nav.

anything else guys?
