  Old  Blogs?

Does anyone know of a customizeable blog script that has comments and such that is very easy to skin?

Thanks,
Jeff

Wordpress is easy enough to skin. It's got comments (as most do) and v2.0's just come out which is pretty nice.

I don't quite undestand what you mean by a 'submit type' feature, but I'd reccomend WordPress. It's a great all-around system.

I would recommend against building your own blog because it would not have all the functionality, security and freedom of third party ones like WordPress. I would second wordpress for a simple yet powerful blogging tool.

I've been looking for a blogging software also. I think WordPress will be my final choice. I've heard good things. One thing though, I've read it's sometimes tricky to setup on a windows shared hosting, that it's best for a linux one. Don't know if that's true. Comments on that anyone?

Anybody here use dasBlog? I've read very good comments about it, but some complaints were regarding setup.

AlexK: Is Textpattern simple to setup and use?
