About the webdesigner job

Hi all, my name is Mihai and I'm 16. I've been thinking that webdesign is a good job for me. I can't really say that it is a passion for me but I like working in Photoshop and other programs.

I only know basic to medium Photoshop at the moment but I still have plenty of time to learn and it's possible for me to have very much free time in the near future.

I'd like to know about your direct experience as webdesigners, if it's a good paid job, how much time you work, if it is difficult, if you like it, if it's too much competition, etc, anything about the job basically.

I don't think I would like to work at a standard job and I think freelance would suit me. I could charge low prices, make my own websites, post tutorials on Youtube so there's loads of ways I could be a succesful firm I suppose. I also have my ideea of a forum that auto-moderates itself, so there would be no need for admins.

So I'd like to hear your direct experiences with the web design job.
