I think it would be great if we had a sort of free for all design contest. Not logos or layouts, more of the type they have on worth1000.com where you take an image and modify it.

Not the best example, but I know a few of you are members there, carchops.com they have competitions to modify car pictures. I think something like this would be a great way for people to practice and improve there design skills.

You just made absolutely no sense really by comparing it to carchops. On carchops, they stick with messing with a car, and on here with design contests, they stick with designs.

Also, I'm not sure many people would enter with there is no winning prize, and if there was, who would pay it if you never even used the winning entry?

I think his idea is like a graphics chain ie: Clantemplates.com,

But I don't think this type of category would be a good addition to the forum.

Good suggestion none the less.

Andrew, I simply used carchops as an example as I know a lot of mebers there are members here.

Anyway, I thought I may not have explained what I mean well enough. Here are 2 examples of the type of competition I was referring to.
