Old  Not familiar with payed hosting sites

Hey , i got a couple of questions for those who know alot about them.
I never payed for my hosting , as i always find friendly people who would host me.

But now i want to buy a package. As i want a package where i can build several sites on i need some explanation.
When you view every package a hosting site has it always say :
domains : 1
subdomains : unlimited

What do they mean with domains(i know what a domain is) , but what do they mean with 1 , is it like only ONE domain can link to the same website?
And subdomains? is that like create multiple accounts on the same package?

Please explain , tnx

you can add domains to either the main root directory, for example.. racksurge.com - racksurge.net and then you can add other domains to new directorys for example..

www.t9media.com/styledpixels
www.styledpixels.com

see now?

Hope ive helped

They mean you are only able to host a single domain under that package. If you require to have several domain hosted under one account, you will need to look for multiple domain package, this allows you to host several domains.

It's worth adding that if you want to host different sites (real sites) as in have multiple domains you can do this and a company that offers it is www.site5.com the people who host talkfreelance
