[wip] First IPB skin
Well, this is the first IPB skin I have ever worked on and I am suprised at how well it is looking thus far. I was just posting here to see what you think I could fix up, add, or change to make it look even better. Here is a short list of what I am already going to fix:
1. Links
2. Catend
3. Header (of course)
4. Need to finish postbit, etc.
5. Lighten up the gray

Im not a big fan of the grey color, it makes it feel a bit dull to me. The red doesnt brighten it up for me because the grey is just too overwhelming. (just read you have that in your todo list )
You are also using a dark color font on a dark background, i would certainly change that. (like dark red background and black text.
Good luck with the site

Yeah, I am going to change the link for the breadcrumb trail to be red, the background a tad lighter and completely transform the grey colors in the forum.
But since it is IPB and not vB, there is a very limited amount of stuff you can do. But for a first it isn't bad, but overall, I think that I would have to rate this a 3/10 (as I imagine it looking when it is complete).

Hmm as already said, theres too much grey..and that red colour doesnt do any favours with it. Try a 'lighter' more, 'cleaner' approach within the colour schemes, and you will have yourself a nice little skin there

Too much gray. Red isn't working with it right now. Try changing and trying new things with the same colour but at different levers and more graphical gradient overlays. This will help improve it.
Atm i don't like it, sorry but it's too plain and the colours just don't work. Let me know when you've updated it and i'll give a better response.
Best of luck! Theres a lot of talent out there creating skins!

the red is to random because the gray is over whelming. It looks to much like the default skin with the colors just changed around.

Red doesn't work well with the grey, i'd complete it first and get rid of the blue, you'll recieve better C&C then!

cpr, it is a work in progress, hence the title.
Don't worry about giving harsh comments, that is exactly why I posted it here. Just to learn what I could change, add, etc. But thank you for your comments, I will implement them as soon as I can.

*busts out the harsh box*
this is far from a skin, all you did really was change the colors and some of the images..making a skin would consist of making it look totally different than the default skin, also it isn't finished so..
