Top 10 Must Have Wordpress Plugins
Hey guys, check out the latest Legit Tutorials post.
Teaser:
Are you a wordpress user? Plugins allow you to expand your wordpress blog, to do things it couldn’t on a standard installation. This post is a list of my favorite, the best, and must have wordpress plugins.
|
Example:
#9 – Configurable Tag Cloud
The default tagcloud widget, which comes with wordpress, doesn’t have many options. It pretty much just displays a long list, of every tag used, on your site. This can take up a lot of space, especially on a sidebar. Configurable Tag Could, or CTC, allows you to display tags in all kinds of ways. You can limit the number of tags to display. You can set it to only display tags with a minimum/maximum amount of posts. You can even tell it to display the tags in a certain order. This is a must have plugin for any blog with a tag cloud.

Would be cool if you at least included some snippets from your post rather than just posting up the link.

Good Idea, I added a couple snippets to the post. I also added nice images to the article .
Also, would someone please leave me feedback on the article? This is my first time writing a post that wasn't a tutorial, or an update. Quality? Did it keep your attention? etc.
If anyone could that'd be very helpful for future posts.

Nice article really. I don't have any complaints since it's not a topic that will generate strong opinions. To comment on some plugins: Hide Content is a nice feature to have but SEO Slugs is a complete overkill if you ask me because a) search engines ignore such stop words anyway and b) sentence looks more natural and less spammy if you mix the words a bit with keywords you are trying to rank for.

Yeah, I use hide content to hide links to downloads from non-members. Truly is a great plugin and so simple to use.

Good one.
I really like the way you blend images in to the text. Gives a much better reading experience and also gives a heads-up how the plugin looks like.

Didn't realize it didn't do any good. It was just a plugin I've always used and thought it helped with seo.
Glad you liked the post, leave a comment
