I really think that this forum needs a Reviews section so you can have your site/design reviewed and hear other webmasters opinions and suggestions.

Member website announcements is for members (who meet the requirements) to tell the world about their website. The gallery showcase is to get honest and constructive critique on your design or site.

As already mentioned, the Gallery Showcase forum already suits that purpose. Did you even look for such a forum before asking here?

First off, you just said that to one of the most respected members on the forum. I've not seen a better way to make a bad name for one's self in a very long time. Good luck being respected by any members who just read that.

ps. Websites are OK to be reviewed in the gallery showcase.

Unless I'm, embarrassingly, grossly out of touch with the current state of the English language, there is no issue whatsoever listing a website for review in a showcase forum under the category of Graphic Design and Multimedia especially given the nature of the discussion intended in that particular forum and the suitability of that over the others we have here.

Also, please may I kindly request that you treat other members with at least a base level of respect. Pathetic displays like that quoted achieve nothing other than distancing yourself from those who remain civil here. Not that you give a damn about making friends around here, evidently.

If we are to rebuild this board into a respectable and mature community, it starts with mutual respect for each other. If someone can't act civil, this is not the community for them.
