  Old  Redirection URL SEO?

Well, I was just wondering if I use tinyurl links as intext links... will it work as SEO links or what? I hope you get my question.

No they dont, they use a nofollow redirect to your website, meaning if google found tinyurl.com/thislinksucks it would go there, and tinyurl would stop it there, meaning you're just advertising their site.

redirects don't possess any value and they are simply considered as nofollow.

Once the URL is rewritten, you want to make sure that the old URL 301 redirects to the new. This tells the search engines that any link juice the old URL had should now be given to the new URL. It also makes for a good user experience, rather than showing a 404 error page. The server is told URL A should now be URL B.
so u got me?

It wont help you in any way from SEO perspective but you can use 301 redirect which will definitely help in SEO.
