Old  My Site's Layout: Critiques Welcome...

Hey,

Well, I've been working on this for a few days now, and I just want to know what people think of it so far. Please tell me if you see anything to change, to add, any ideas that would look good on it, ect.

The site will be for my feautre web design company. So keep that in mind.

Please view the design here, http://pronexsolutions.com/preivew.html.

Thanks everyone,

Remix

does the menu really need to be that wide? i also think you need a more identifiable logo. just the text doesn't do much. the rest is pretty good.

what goes on the right?

The menu does seem quite wide as theory mentioned, i also think the name of the company/site should feature in the left hand corner or closer to the top (it just doesn't make sense from a practical point of view).

Our eyes are drawn to the top left...this should be where you position your branding/logo and tell the users about your site. I'm finding myself look to the left and then back to the right.....

The colours are nice, the news area is fine and easy to read. I think the clouds are way over used granted we have clouds on this forum but i'm not trying to sell a product.

I would suggest perhaps adding some icons to the menu or decreasing its width to accomodate a larger header where the sites branding could be positioned in a slightly more prominent place.

Thanks Robson, theory, x3.

The right will contain the content, I am not sure how to do it yet or what methods to use. Does anyone have any ideas?

Thanks again,
Remix

the text on the menu was really small and hard to read. The colours are nice, and blend well its off to a good start.
