Hello guys,

I was just wondering what hosting solution I might get if I plan to start a Social Forum website?
It is brand new website and as you already know there's no members, yet.

I'm not 100% sure, but I think it'll be very fast process with the members Sign-up's.
I mean I was told by a friend of mine that I will get easily approx.1000 people for less than 2 months.

I also didn't submit it to the search engines and that's why I thought it'll be good if I start looking for some smart hosting idea before I actually jumped in.
I will be very glad if I have the chance to explore your opinions, ideas and suggestions in the coming days.

Thank you so much!
Best regards.

I second ***********.com hosting options, forum software are you planning to install?

You can start with your reseller account but you're eventually going to need a dedicated server when your forum grows big & active.

*********.com provides web hosting services that will be good for forum software. Their semi-dedis are really great.

A Semi-dedi is a medium between shared web hosting and a dedi. Very usable thing and costs less.

That can be held on a shared account. You may get 1000 people to join, but will they all post, thats the part that counts. Shared Account is more then enoguh for a start!

Shared account can be really good for a medium-sized phpbb forum, though I prefer smf actually. I'm using ********.biz to host my site, but there are plenty of other decent hosting options available around.
You can check www.hostww.net, www.inmotion.com and www.siteground.com.
