  Old  Birmingham hit by tornado

Report / Pictures

Nineteen people have been injured - three seriously - as a tornado ripped through the streets of Birmingham.

"From the reports we have heard we would estimate that this is a tornado with a rating of T3-T4, that would mean it had wind speeds of between 93-114 mph for T3 and 114-130 for T4.

"A typical description would be that motorcars were lifted and destroyed, roofs removed from buildings and weak buildings destroyed.
We have some people from Birmingham on here don't we? It seems strange when England gets weather like that especially in area's like that and from the reports it sounded quite big compared to the few other tornoado's we get.

With this and the india monsoon it is pretty obvious climate change is to blame. Soon this will be common and eventually we will all be frozen alive

Monsoons happen every year in india. Every year people die or are majorly affected by it. It's nothing new. I've experienced it first hand.
