I agree with Tom, Also one of my school PE teachers has one like that and as far as I know has never had any problems with it.

I own the WD MyBook 160gb version (the regular one, not premium) and I love it. The only parts I don't like is the noise and the fact that there is no switch for on off, just a button.
I really like the idea/look of their new passport drive. Looks snazzy.

Well- Its more than the 500gig and its only 250. Looks nice thought but not nice enough to lose 250 gigs.

Yeah, there is the price range difference. The big advantage though is that if you're mobile a fair bit... the passport would be best because it is bus powered. No bulky adapter to carry with you. (And it's a slimline design).
