Old  (LF) Sponsors -- Gaming Related

Per Digit's recommendation, and, well, we've been thinking about testing the waters.

We're looking for podcast sponsors for a fast-growing, niche podcast called Short Attention Gamer. It's a weekly podcast about gaming that has averaged 1,200 downloads per show, and continues to grow. We've featured interviews with the marketing manager of Xbox Live as well as the colorist for the popular Civil War comic book, both of which listen to the show.

We are interested in sponsorships for the show, which entails a 10-second advert at the beginning and/or end of the show, for example "this week's show is brought to you by..". We've built a tight-knit community in our forums that is extremely supportive of the show.

If anyone is interested, please drop me a PM. If you're interested but just aren't sure yet, take a listen and let us know what you think of the show.

Thanks for your time.

I'm interested. What kind of sponsorship you require? Financial or Hardware?

I'm also interested in the above question.

Thanks for asking. We're looking for financial assistance. We've been fortunate enough to have access to excellent recording equipment and sound editing software which is covered. But, as the show grows, we'd like to cover hosting and bandwidth costs as well as be able to purchase prizes for tournaments and events that we host.

For example, we are looking for prizes for a Gears of War tournament we're running next month. We have few prizes in hand, but, to make it a more enjoyable event for the participants, the tournament will probably have to be either 2v2 or 3v3. At this time, we only have a prize pack for individual participants. We're planning on meeting with local game shops like GameStop and EB Games for support as well. We know that Best Buy supports local LAN events, so we'd like to talk with them.

If there are further questions, please feel free to ask.

Again, thanks.
