  Old  Database Backup Help

Does anyone know how to backup a vBulletin database without going into phpmyadmin?

Login to your vbulletin admin control panel. In the left menu, scroll down to the bottom untill you see "Maintenance". Click on it and a link should appear called Database Backup. Hope you can manage it from here.

That's the problem, my host basically shutdown meaning my site isnt up and running and I can't get into phpmyadmin because of some server error.

If your host shutdown then you cant access to database to back it up so your basicly screwed.

Do you, or did you have shell access, and if so, is it functioning. I believe you could get your database info ussing SSH. But if your host is shut down, as in no longer in existence, the yes, you are in fact screwed as previously stated.

Well it looks like the host is back up now so I am able to get into phpmyadmin.
Hopefully I'll be able to get it all straightened out now.
