  Old  problems with .co.uk?

Ok, im from the UK and ive found a domain i rather like with .co.uk extension.

What are the problems with the .co.uk extension, the .com extension for the same domain is already taken.

Suggestions? Im pretty small on buying domains

For one, it's more likely that you'll get type ins and the like from a .com as it's more popular, other than that, I think it's just a standard in domains. I'm not a big fan of country TLDs myself.

I don't think there are any restrictions on .info

I personally think that it is that bad

I personally like .info's. So it's probably just a matter of personal preference.

I'd type in .info before i'd type in .co.uk so i'd go with the .info.

Aren't .coms for worldwide companies, and .co.uk's for UK companies (obviously).

If it's targetted mainly for UK residents then i'd go for it..

I think you should try and get a .com because if you have .co.uk, and the .com is taken, people might think that it's an "imposter" (not really but yeah) and I think .com's are more professional, and maybe so are .net's but I wouldn't go with .co.uk, unless it's a UK company for UK residents.
