Old  Examples of valid tabular layouts?

Im working on a poject that came to my mind recently and I was wondering if anyone could link to a couple good layouts done in tables that are 100% valid. The more complex the better. Thanks in advance.

Depends what you mean by "valid". Tables for layout are BAD, tables for data (in many cases) are good. Learn table-less coding, there are many sites on the web that'll help you... as well as this community

EDIT: W00t! 69 posts!

Definitly stick with CSS (use divs or spans). Anyway, if you want the table to be valid, try not to position it, that usually kills the validation.

Oh no, I dont plan on switching back to tables or anything. I just need to see some valid layouts with tables. I want to write some java code for my class in school to convert the layout from tables to css.

Excellent. Its nicely tabbed as well, so that helps. Do you have any links to any of your other works?

i think the thing that kills most table layouts from being valid is: valign="top"

If you want examples of xhtml 1 valid and tabular, almost all the skins at: http://www.forummonkeys.com are "complex", valid, and tabular.
