  Old  Paint Shop Pro X

X being the roman numeral for 10.

It's been released by Corel, and I've got the trial.

Its a big difference in terms of the interface, but seems to be missing some valuable icons that help yo to find stuff in menus.

Other than that, it's pretty nice. I'm gonna buy it soon.

I dont know how many of you would consider giving it a try, since you're all well endowed with Photoshop

I still haven't got to try this out but I'm always using Photoshop.

I might have to check it out soon.

Just wondering why you would buy a piece of software that is still not as powerful as Photoshop? I mean, it looks great and everything but Photoshop is the industry standard and there is so much support and resources available for it, i'm willing to bet there is alot you can do in Photoshop that you can't do in PSP X.

Photoshop is very expensive (a rip off, imo), I can buy Paint Shop Pro X for about £60 - £80.

I also beleive I can produce things that are comparable to Photoshop works.

Photoshop Elements is not better, either. It has less features than PSP.

And I also beleive that PSP is better than Photoshop for enhancing photographs.

I'm almost sure everything that's possible to do in PS can be done in PSP. But it may be harder.

PSP is a good application, sepcially for it's price ($129.99), but I prefer PS.

it used to be harder to produce smooth freehand shapes and stuff, but now that has been resolved.
