Here's a design that I've been working on the past few days for my new website. What do you guys think... May I have the pro's and con's please? Thanks.

I'm trusting that no one will rip me.

Hey man, good job. Very neat and tidy and to the point (which i love about the site). I think this is a great idea, are you banking on google to bring in the cash? Not sure if that is a wise idea...perhaps get some adverts going or something.

I like the top left corner (the glass orb shape) Colours are nice, looks a little blurry for some reason...not sure why. Not sure about the header text (the two-tone). Keep messing about with it...see what you can come up with.

It is looking good so far x3net.

It is clean and well laid out.

I don't particularly care for the gradients at the top or on the menu.

Can't wait to see it in action.

Do you guys know any good advert programs?? And at the moment, I'll be counting on google unless I find something better.

Thanks for the comments! The header text is supposed to give it a sort of metallic feel..

First of all, I love the fresh feel that the site gives off, great work 3k

As for the metallic feel, I think your best bet is looking at how Bazza was able to get the metallic gradient running through his designs here:

Good luck on the design and keep trying out those blending styles

Good start although your gradients for the top bar and nav buttons could use some work. For the subheaders in your content area, perhaps using images for it with different font styles and all that good stuff? Also, I would raise your font size up a bit to see how it looks because the one you currently have is a bit small for my liking

I might turn the sub-headers into images... we'll see. I'm liking that idea, I just need to find the right font to use... that's my problem, lol.
