Improvement for noobs
There needs to be some improvement to these forums so you make it more 'noob-friendly'. I'm speaking from experience here lol. When a new freelancer wants to get involved in trading here it is very hard for them to begin with. I have seen many very good templates for sale not get any response, all of them made by a noob to the forums (including myself lol!). I know this is hardly something to say, because you could blame the lack of sale on other aspects, but I do not find that the case. I'm not complaining or anything, but there needs to be some way of helping noobs getting properly involved with these forums. Many of you may argue that these forums are very good at such things, but I think that that is an area which it needs touching up on.

You mean the 'Marketplace' forum should have a guide for new members?

Well, that happens with a lot of other templates too. If nobody is interested, then so be it, I doubt it's anything to do with the member, unless they are known for being untrustworthy.

I guess so - and yes, there should be some kind of guide to help noobs sort out their marketplace posts.

I second that, with all the restrictions in place it's nearly impossible to post in the marketplace. Even when you think you have every rule followed it still seems like something will not go through...

The rules aren't hard to follow, it's just a lot of people don't read them and make it difficult for them.
If a template is good, I'm sure that someone will buy it, regardless of the user, unless they are known for scamming or something.

sucks you have to 'spam' the forums to get 5 posts. Especially when i was referred here by another site with a specific question in mind. Instead of getting straight to the point..
however, i respect the rules of this site.. its just a new users 2 cents.

Silence, please note that this forum is a freelance community where we come to discuss freelance design and development in a friendly environment. It is not simply a marketplace, the marketplace is an additional forum to help freelancers advertise their products and services.
There are new guidelines that have been developed by myself, and the staff all like them. I am also developing a help guide for posting advertisements too, plus other guides
