What Patrick got for Christmas
What my family got me:
2 shirts, 3 ties, and $110 to Circuit City, $50 to Borders, and a Swiss-Army keychain (Total value, ~$300)
What I got myself:
19" LCD monitor, 2 new books (Total Value ~$700)
I spoil myself because my family can't afford to on Christmas...
Regards,
Patrick

As Moob said, it's always good to treat yourself for the hard work you put into life.

WHY DO PEOPLE PUT MONETARY VALUES ON EVERYTHING? iSN'T IT THE THOUGHT? $300 is more than some in Africa would see in a lifetime. Count your blessings people.

I was mainly reffering to that. He's like adding up the gifts and putting a price on them. Thats just sad and ruins the whole spirit of christmas. Still whatever.

i think the point of that was just to show us that he spent more on himself than other ppl spent on him, not that it matters how much is spent ofcourse
