QuarkXPress® 6 software brought projects and layers, synchronized text, multiple undo, tables, and more. QuarkXPress 6.5 augments some of these features and provides even more enhancements that help you increase productivity, save time, and take advantage of the newest technologies. And for a limited time, as a registered QuarkXPress 6.5 user, you can download a font package with more than 40 OpenType® fonts from Linotype®.

Well i'm just checking out their website, and found this bit of text on one of the pages:
QuarkXPress is widely used by magazines, newspapers, advertising agencies, typesetters, printers, corporate publishers, design firms, catalog houses, book publishers, and form designers. It is also used by businesses with publishing requirements.

I was taught Quark Express first 2 years of my education, then we made the switch to Adobe Indesign. Trust me, Adobe Indesign is *so* much better!

Lucky you... in our first 2 years on a computer we get told how to "make a folder", "make a text file", "save, load, edit, delete", and then Microsoft Access >_<

heh. sounds like chapter 1 from my Visual Basic textbook. the 'chapter review' questions in the end of the book are quite litterally things like
-describe double-clicking in your own words.
-what is the difference between windows and Windows?.
-describe right-clicking in your own words.
and so on.
