London 2012 Logo
Since we have a lot of logo designers I thought we could discuss the logo for the 2012 Olympic Games
There is the final logo above, it cost £400,000 in total. What does everyone think of it?
Personally I don't really like it, I think it's pretty average although I suppose there is only so many things you can do for an Olympics logo.

I agree with you, that isn't very nice at all. I see what they are trying to do with the design but don't agree with it. I could get that off Bennett for £300, not £400,000.

I've seen better *cough* Bennett *cough* but, 800,000 USD is a crap load of money for a logo like that. For 800,000 I would expect an interactive 3-D logo, lol.

Its not the product they produce, its the time they spend in researching that makes the price high.
Edit: Its horrible though

Hmm, I think they waisted £400,000. Who did they contract for the design?

That right there shows the ability of a now rich designer that uses MS paint...what a waste of countries/sponsors money...
