Aside from your flippant remark about 'bad' code, which I feel was just put in there as an aside, I'd like to say something. My professional work is with C#, it needn't take any longer than a comparable PHP application. Using the ASP.NET Framework is often, for me at least, much quicker and easier than putting something together in PHP for anything more than a quick script but that's probably more due to the use of a
framework over scripting things from scratch rather than PHP vs C#. Is here really the place to be having this discussion anyway?
