Take a look at http://www.prototypejs.org/. It has a built in AJAX function, and if you read the documentation, you might be able to integrate it yourself. Also, if it is a prebuilt script, you would have trouble integrating this because it isn't built for AJAX. You would either have to hire someone that could make it work, or find a existing AJAX plugin for the script you are using.
