So here's a funny story...

I had spent hours trying to figure out how to display a custom taxonomy page just like "tag.php" or "category.php".

Literally after hours of searching, trying all kinds of tutorials, and a major headache....I noticed I had entered a base tag in the permalink settings with the same name as my taxonomy. Problem solved. fml.
