I have been fascinated with simplistic (or shall I say minimalistic) design styles recently. Seems like the style is often picked up by fashion resources/blogs, it is definitely becoming (or have always been) quite trendy.

Does it really take a special kind of person to design this way? In other words, should someone look for a professional who designs this particular way because its just his style of design (like any artist who has his/her own take/technique), or is any designer capable of producing work like that?
