Freelancer.com is only good if you are new to the freelancing industry. After establishing a reputation, try to find alternatives. Maybe moving on to Elance.com would be better. Freelancer.com has way too many "low paying" projects, whereas Elance.com has better paying projects. However, it is much easier to win projects on Freelancer.com than Elance. com. If you are good at what you are doing, it should be easy. However, always protect yourself. Never hand over your work unless you are getting paid in advance or something. Freelancer.com has something known as Milestone Payment - to protect both employer and employee... Make sure you have read all the Terms & Conditions before starting, and I recommend to start with a free membership. Only upgrade when you are comfortable with the whole system.
