Just because males and females were brought together to reproduce it doesn't mean that 2 members of the same sex can't have sex, kiss, hug, or just show affection in general towards each other.

If a male and female wanted to have sex for enjoyment but wouldn't want to reproduce shouldn't that go against the reasoning behind sex also, shouldn't that be just as wrong, why aren't those people condemned for using sex for reasons that it isn't in place for? If a male + female can have sex for fun, then why can't a male + male or female + female? I'm straight but I could care less if a male + male or female + female enjoyed being together.
