Right, basically it depends on budget. If you are more into deisgn and cpu thirsty app's a MBP would be the way to go but if you are doing basic work a MB should be fine. The MPB has bigger and faster HD's, gruntier ram and slightly more grunty processer even though it won't make a big difference. Also you need to consider size. The MBP comes in a 15" or a 17" where the MB only has a 13" (theres rumours of a 15" coming soon). So basically thats all you need to consider. Ooh and the other things cory mentioned

Yep they both come with ilife and the basic's, i'm pretty sure it's exactly same with all of the mac's.
