A few years ago, WYSIWYG didn't cut it for hard coding effectively. Thankfully Microsoft and Macromedia wised up to the market and released some pretty damn fine versions of their editors. Dreamweaver MX2004 is definately worth using, even if you're new or experienced. Sure, you can be all "l337" with your pure Notepad coding, but in the end, coding it inside Dreamweaver is so much easier.
