Just added this to the design requirements:
There also needs to be an advertising spot up top. And would be a bonus if there was one at the footer also.
And here's something I just made with the line tool in photoshop from flez's request. It's a very rough sketch and I would like each designer to try and make it as unique as possible, as this is a very common layout for a site.
