I have to agree with Nightspy, the majority of freelancers spend alot of time on their clients work (which of course is not a bad thing) however, they should spend put just as much time and effort into their own website.

Banners2go was very succesfull and still is, probably because of the market i was targeting for a start (my only real competitor being bannersmall). I did advertise banners2go alot, i spent countless hours posting on a whole range of forums, i purchased 10,000+ impressions on websites and bought listings in directories.

Customers will not come to you.....you have to go and find them With a good product and a good design to advertise it, you really cannot go far wrong!
