I had a board that I had it getting over 4000 uniques a day for a month. But it was because I took advantage of some directories and brought in a lot of traffic. Once all of the directories were discovered I lost all of the traffic. And I only gained like 1500 members with all of that traffic. Just goes to show that you need to have quality material before you get the traffic otherwise no one wants to join your site.
