In my webmastering class at school, we use Fireworks. At first, I hated everything about it. Going through the interface, to me it felt cheap and incomplete. I was way to attached to the Photoshop interface. However I did find it much easier to use the Pen tool in Fireworks. I understand the benefits of using Fireworks to make vector stuff, but I don't work with vector at all. Also, I hate the brushes that come with Fireworks. They just aren't very flexible. And finally, when I try to apply styles to layers, I can't really figure out how to get the effect I want, however I can picture exactly how to do it in Photoshop, and that is extremely frustrating for me.
