My chair is from John Lewis My desk currently has a copy of Harry Potter holding it up on one side hehe (It's not my book btw). John lewis make great furniture, check them out again! I wouldn't bother with the big warehouse type places, homebase etc as the quality is always pretty naff!

Ikea. I got this desk from there. Pretty good till I put faaaaaaar too much stuff on one side causing one of the legs to collapse. Propped up by a load of books at the moment.

i quite like that desk but the collapse problem kind of worrys me lol

My chair is from OfficeMax, chair from Staples. All my stuff back in England came from Ikea in Lakeside, so just up the road from you... But if I was buying in that area again I'd go here: http://www.green-work.co.uk/silvertown.htm - great bargains including some nice L shaped desks that will fit nicely in the corner of any room and house two monitors with ease - and less than an hours drive from you.
