IMO its a good idea to get some experience working in a company before taking the plunge into starting your own business. Even if its just for three months you will get to see how they handle personnel/staff issues, what their business protocols are etc. You've still got alot of time, but at least consider getting a job for two months in the summer or something, preferably in an IT related company.
