Well, when i had skills...

It's really hard to explain. I designed since i started going on forums and the internet a few years ago. My friend gave me photoshop to help him make something super simple since his wasn't working. I played around with it, and made my first website with him. Started going on a lot of forums every single day and posting.

Got a whole bunch of experience and critizism. I used a few tutorials here and there, but i really was never taught how to design. This is really why i NEVER want to go to those Web Design classes in school or college. So far they have taught me nothing. You just need first hand experience and time. Keep playing around with it untill you get the hang of it.

P.S: I've seen so many young designers (yes im young too, 17) grow better at designing day by day. For example, someone i know on CFX used to be really bad at designing. Used to ignore his threads, but since time has passed he has gotten much better and i love his work. I'm sure you can get better.
