is something I truely hate - infact I hate pretty much all text replacements (ie an image where it should be text).
If you're coding to be user friendly you really aren't by using an image where it should be text.

CSS isn't just being about user friendly. If everyone who used CSS was completely user friendly, the designs would be quite boring. People who want better readability can simply disable the style sheet and read the content that way.
